The first scene of my hipster spy film.

Black.

A TITLE fades up: ‘All you need to make a movie is a girl and a gun.’ – Jean-Luc Godard.

Fade In.

EXT. PARIS STREET – DAY.

MICHAEL (27) walks down a busy street. He might remind you of Alain Delon if he were more sure of himself. We follow him in profile during a long tracking shot past cafes and avenues as Beirut – ‘My Night with the Prostitute From Marseille’ swells on the soundtrack.

We stop outside a small restaurant, but he doesn’t. He disappears inside for a moment’s pause then- a shot and a flash. The screen fades white.

TITLE: Six Weeks Before.

Fade up on the GIRL.
